I started as an actor, like many, in a high school drama department, playing roles in golden age musicals and family friendly plays from a bygone era. And also like many I was so in love with acting that I wanted to go to school for it, but unlike many I had to take a detour through the United States Army first as an infantryman. During the six years I served I was made team leader after being promoted to Corporal and participated in several missions at home and abroad.

I was, eventually, able to attend school. I got my BA in theatre from Huntington University where I received the foundation of my training and gained extensive experience on stage and on screen with the school’s excellent film department.
Afterwards I attended University of Arkansas where I received my MFA in acting. There I developed my process, honed my craft on the stage and began to expand my resume with films in the bustling NWA region, and with theatres such as theatre squared, trike, and Arkansas Shakespeare.
